LaTonya Franklin, from Emporia, graduated from Greensville County High School. She earned two degrees from Southside Virginia Community College: an Associate of Applied Science in Human Services and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in General Studies/ Human Services, both of which she completed with high honors.
Meredith Colley grew up in Phenix in Charlotte County and graduated from Randolph Henry High School. After earning her Associate of Arts and Sciences in General Studies from Southside Virginia Community College, she transferred to the University of Virginia, completing a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
Sharon Adams graduated from Greensville County High School with a diploma and as a Nurse Aide. She earned her Practical Nursing license a short time later and was employed by Greensville Memorial Hospital. In an effort to advance and improve her employability, Sharon made the decision to enter Southside Virginia Community College's Registered Nursing program.

Holly Elliott is a full-time employee, student and mom from Buffalo Junction, Virginia. She started taking classes through Southside Virginia Community College as a dual-enrollment student while in high school in Halifax County. She graduated from SVCC in the spring of 2011 with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
