Currently the Charge Nurse of the Alzheimer unit at Heritage Hall Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Blackstone, VA, Ashley is grateful for such a rewarding career in which she regularly receives personal notes from patients and their families expressing their appreciation of the care and compassion she gives them.
Ashley is eager to recommend SVCC's Registered Nursing program to anyone. "My nursing school experience was amazing at SVCC. My instructors were always available, full of knowledge to give, and they were not intimidating at all. My clinical experiences were great, rotating through the many different specialties of nursing. The small class size made it more personal. My nursing class became a family. We helped each other succeed through all the blood, sweat, and tears---literally! SVCC's nursing program prepared me well for my NCLEX and for the beginning of my RN career!"
