Since graduating from Southside Virginia Community College with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in General Studies, Maygan Clary returned to SVCC to earn Career Studies Certificates in Basic and Intermediate Emergency Medical Services. She has also recently completed requirements for an Associate of Applied Science in Emergency Medical Services.
Maygan, from Lawrenceville, Virginia, is a Communications Officer for the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. She is also a volunteer EMT-Intermediate for Central Lifesaving Rescue Squad in Gasburg, Virginia and a volunteer firefighter and EMS provider for Gasburg Volunteer Fire Department. Maygan plans to transfer to a four-year school to complete a bachelor's degree, with the ultimate goal of becoming a career Firefighter/Paramedic.
