Nicole Meek attended Southside Virginia Community College as a Governor's School of Virginia student from Randolph-Henry High School. Upon completion of high school, she also earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences in General Studies from Southside Virginia Community College.
After graduating from SVCC, Nicole transferred to James Madison University and completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and studied further at Central Virginia Community College for a degree in Respiratory Therapy. She is employed by University of Virginia Health Center as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the surgical, trauma and neuro units.
Nicole reflects on her time at SVCC, "The Governor’s School program brought me a lifelong friend and amazing memories. I also learned time management skills and endured a more rigorous coarse load to help prepare for the difficulty of university level classes."
