The Southside Virginia Community College men’s basketball team has found much success in the USA National Postgrad Championships over the past few years, winning national titles in 2015, 2016 and 2017, but the local team ran into some extremely tough competition last week dropping three games including a 68-66 loss against Bryant & Stratton MIT in a consolation final on Saturday in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

SVCC Men’s Basketball team withstood a late charge from Washington Academy to hang on for a 103-99 victory on Sunday afternoon. The win improved SVCC to 11-7 on the season.
