Due to her father's occupation, Stephanie Sanders' family moved several times during the course of her childhood, but spent most of her youth in Wisconsin.
Stephanie successfully completed her GED and enrolled in Southside Virginia Community College. She received a Career Studies Certificate in Gaming Technology and earned her Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems Technology from SVCC.
After moving to the northern Virginia area, Stephanie was recruited for a computer support technician position for a project at the National Science Foundation. Once the project was completed, she was on-boarded as a contractor for the help desk at the Foundation. She is currently working toward a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering at George Mason University.
Stephanie urges current and potential SVCC students to get as much out of school as possible. She recommends gaining certifications and networking with classmates and professors, which should prove useful in their futures.
