How long have you worked at SVCC? 

21 years. 2 years as a work-study and 19 years working in the library

Audiovisual Supervisor and Library Specialist

To visit every state in the United States

Who was your favorite teacher?

Dr. Virginia Russell at Saint Paul's College. She taught business classes.

What did you want to do when you grew up?

I wanted to be a teacher

What was your first job?

I was a cashier at the Big Tee Burger.

Of what achievement are you most proud?

My proudest achievement was receiving my associate's degree here at Southside. This was a huge accomplishment to start my educational career after six years out of high school.

If you could have lunch with one person, dead or alive, who would it be? What would you eat?

A salad with First Lady Michele Obama.

What is the best book you ever read?

This is a tough question for me.  One of my best books is Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
