This program is designed to transfer into John Tyler Community College. Successful students will have opportunity to attain credentials from the National Institute for Metalwork Skills, Inc. (NIMS).
The High Performance Technology Program prepares students for entry level positions in the advanced manufacturing industry. Courses in the curriculuum in clude, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, Introduction to Computer Numeric Controls, Introduction to Quality Assurance, and Introduction to Technical Applications in Manufacturing. The program offers students the opportunity to attain industry recognized credentials such as OSHA, ESCO, and NCCER.
