- The TEAS test is a widely-used pre-entrance exam for nursing programs, created and administered by ATI, Assessment Technologies Institute, LLC.
- ATI is introducing the new TEAS - ATI-TEAS, Version 7. We will still accept TEAS taken within 3 years prior to application to our program.
- Required minimum TEAS scores to apply for admission to Nursing programs at SVCC:
- Associate Degree in Nursing - Minimum of 65% of questions correct overall and 73.5% of math questions correct
- Beginning with 2023 ADN Programs, these subtest scores are preferred: Reading 73%, Science 55%, English/Language 62.5%
- Practical Nursing - Minimum of 53% of questions correct overall and 53% of math questions correct.
- Associate Degree in Nursing - Minimum of 65% of questions correct overall and 73.5% of math questions correct
- Register for the TEAS online at www.atitesting.com.
- Registration fee is paid directly to ATI Testing when registering. Cost is $92 for in-person testing and $120 for virtual testing through atitesting.com.
- Registration closes when test is full or 24 hours before on on-campus test, 48 hours before a remotely-proctored test.
- The TEAS may be taken up to 3 times per application cycle and 4 times in a 12 month period. Testing sooner than 2 weeks after a previous test attempt is not recommended.

Remotely-Proctored Tests - NOT on campus - Students test from home and are proctored remotely.
ATI Testing also offers remotely-proctored online tests directly with their company and will send your score transcript to the school you indicate. Go to atitesting.com, click "Register for TEAS", and "TEAS Online Proctored by ATI"
What is "remotely-proctored"? Students test online, from home, and must meet the technology requirements for Remote-Proctored Tests specified on www.atitesting.com website. ATI has partnered with Proctorio to provide test proctoring. Read remote-proctored test technical requirements PRIOR to registering and paying as ATI does not allow refunds.
