Complete your Direct Enrollment Questionnaire by logging in with your MySVCC username and password. This brief, 3-5 minute survey will help determine your most appropriate English and math placement and first semester courses. Clear Your Student Account Holds If you have holds on your account, it can impact your enrollment process. Addressing holds promptly is crucial to ensuring a seamless admissions process and transition into college life. It's common for holds to arise due to outstanding documents, fees, or other requirements that need attention before you can proceed with enrollment or access certain services. Our staff is here to assist you in navigating through this process and ensuring that you can fully engage in your academic journey without any hindrances. Register for Classes To prepare for your first semester, a College Navigator will assist you with your first-semester course selections and help you establish your academic and career goals. Complete Your Payment For Classes Finalize your enrollment by ensuring payment for your classes. Without payment completed, you may lose your seat and be dropped from your course(s). It is important to complete one of the options listed below, and we invite you to contact us if you have questions or need assistance with any of these items. Financial Aid For assistance, please contact the Financial Aid Department at 434-949-1094 or email finaid@southside.edu. SVCC Foundation Scholarships SVCC has several scholarship opportunities available through our Foundation Office. By completing the scholarship application, you will be considered for all available scholarships. To apply, visit southside.academicworks.com and log in using your MySVCC username and password. NOTE: Students must also complete the FAFSA when applying for SVCC Foundation Scholarships. Scholarships/Third-Party Payments Submit scholarships and third-party payments to the Cashier’s Office prior to the tuition deadlines. If authorization for a scholarship or third-party payment has not been obtained before that time, you may be dropped from all enrolled classes. Students are responsible for checking their accounts to ensure payments have been posted. Full tuition payments can also be received in person, online, or over the phone through the Cashier’s Office. Payment Plan Students are able to take advantage of the easy payment system offered by Nelnet. Plans can be set up using a checking or savings account, or credit or debit card.
