Hey everybody! We at SVCC are kicking off 2021 right with our Esports Club announcing that we are looking for a group of students to play Rocket League. This will be the first of many games to come! Because of the current situation, that we are all in, we won’t be able to play Rocket League at our campuses. We do have some good news! Rocket League has become “Free to Play” on PC (No subscription required to play online), Playstation 4 & 5 (PS Plus not required to play online), Xbox One & Series X (Xbox Live *is required* to play online), and Nintendo Switch (Online subscription not required to play). Rocket League is cross-platform playable with a free Epic Games account.
As a current SVCC student playing from home, all you will need is a high-speed internet connection, a Discord account (www.Discord.com), one of the gaming platforms listed above, a free Epic Games account (www.epicgames.com), and Rocket League installed.
