Men's Basketball
The Southside Virginia Community College Force basketball team from the John H. Daniel Campus joined the Virginia Community College System league during the 2003-04 season and earned a very respectable fourth-place finish in the Virginia Community College State Club Basketball Tournament. The team won three straight VCCS division titles from 2006-2008 and captured the VCCS state championship titles in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Women's Fast Pitch Softball
The Southside Virginia Community College started a women’s fastpitch softball team in 2017.
