SVCC Visits the General Assembly
A delegation of students and representatives from SVCC had the incredible opportunity to meet with legislators at the Virginia General Assembly. Students in attendance were Nakiera Wiggins (Emporia), Emily Dalton (Burkeville), Kadin Shaw (South Hill), May Levonian (Meherrin), Maxi Alvarez (Victoria), Erika Davis (Farmville), and Emily Sansalone (Meherrin).
Students were able to share their SVCC story with Senator Mulchi, Delegate Wachsmann, VCCS Chancellor Dr. David Doré, and Legislative Assistant to Delegate Tommy Wright, Kade Gravitt.
