The VCCS Legislative Reception held in Richmond showcased the impactful work that all 23 community colleges are doing to help prepare Virginians for successful careers in the Commonwealth. In attendance was Governor of Virginia Glenn Youngkin, VCCS Chancellor Dr. David Dore', college presidents and leadership staff, Virginia lawmakers, friends, colleagues and students. The reception was sponsored by the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education.
Also in attendance were: Dr. Quentin R. Johnson, SVCC President (not pictured), Carthan Currin, SVCC Foundation Board Member; Anne Rogers, Director of Community Engagement, Virginia Foundation for Community College Education; and Jamie Jones, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement.
