Medication Aide

Overview

If you have completed a Nurse Aide program or a Direct PatientCare certificate program you should consider adding this credential. Medication Aides are allowed under the Code of VA to assist patients with medications in Assisted Living Facilities. The need for this level of training is growing as our population ages and more persons need placement in assisted living care facilities. This is the full 68-hour course as required by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
